3 STAFF STATIONS

Carnival Barkers (for Retail events only):

* Standing in front of booth.

* Draw attention to AF and drive people to get in line -- all w/fun energy.

Greeter / Scan Prep:

* Warm welcome at front table.

* MOST IMPORTANT: Get everyone to pull all hair back (see hairline!) AND clear face.

* If time allows, mention head-turning fully & at a smooth fluid speed.

* Directs customers to the next open booth using booth numbers mounted on each booth. 1-10

Scan Assistants (most of staff will be here):

* This is the core of the fun AF Experience!!

* Get the customer to RELAX, HAVE FUN, take a GREAT SCAN.

* Taking a great scan is the MOST IMPORTANT part. Clear face, smooth fluid turning a full 180 degrees.

* Empower the customer to go through the experience themselves. You will be nearby if they need help.

Everyone should do every role, even if only for 5 minutes. It leads to a different level of understanding.

Also, welcome any & all feedback from customers. We want to know the problems so we can get better!

Checkout

To avoid fraud alerts on the IP address, everyone MUST checkout & pay on their own phone/device. (Take pic of QR code on the iPad screen to do this)

If someone is absolutely unable to (maybe drained phone battery, etc.), offer for them to use anyone's phone that is on a cellular connection.

A few additional tips:

1. Bring your own snacks and drinks in case the event does not provide them.

2. Everyone needs to take at least 10 scans with our new app update! Practice, Practice, Practice. You must be very proficient at the process in order to help customers.

3. There will be a small space to keep your belongings. Avoid bringing large bags.

4. You will receive a branded shirt for the event. Wear comfortable shoes and nice jeans or pants. (No rips or holes. Sneakers are okay.)

5. For outdoor events, be sure to wear sunscreen. Dress in light layers in case of weather changes from early morning to afternoon.

"We are here" signage (see LAM horizontal sign above)

* This signage announces our physical presence. It is an alternative to the vertical retractable sign used to date, or if space allows, can be incremental.

* This would have been helpful at BIG 12.
